Maurice Payne

One of Hockney’s close friends and an artistic collaborator, Maurice Payne assisted in printing many of Hockney’s etchings including those in the portfolios Illustrations from Fourteen Poems from C. P. Cavafy, Illustrations for Six Fairy Tales from the Brothers Grimm, The Man with the Blue Guitar, and Recent Etchings.
